National Consultation on Gender, Political Economy and Energy to be held on September 22, 2017 at New Delhi. The consultation aims to bring together policy makers, researchers and civil society organisations on a common platform to discuss approaches and means to facilitate  women’s access to and use of affordable and clean energy. Barriers and opportunities for use of clean energy by women for social reproduction (cooking) and for productive purposes (agriculture) are the key focus areas of the consultation.
