Prakash Shetty , CEO - LANSA, participated in the FAO Regional Expert Consultation on Scoping and Prioritisation of Neglected and Underutilized Crop Species in December 2016. He shared insights from LANSA research on Millets as a nutrient-dense food crop to address malnutrition and its promotion under government food distribution programmes in India. The publication is an outcome of the consultation, and LANSA has been acknowledged for its contribution to the Future Smart Food initiative process.
