What we do

LANSA produces innovative research to inform agricultural and food value-chain policies, programmes and interventions. We aim to generate evidence that, with practical application, can improve nutrition outcomes. CEO, Prakash Shetty, explains the potential impact of LANSA's research here.

To make sure our research is relevant to decision makers and other stakeholders we place special emphasis on research uptake. We also facilitate knowledge sharing and learning between partners. Find out more about what we do.

Who we are

LANSA stands for Leveraging Agriculture for Nutrition in South Asia. Led by M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, we are a research programme made up of six organisations. To guide our work and help deliver our ambitious programme, we have set up advisory committees and working groups. Our work has been made possible by funding from the UK Government.
