Exposure visit to M. S. Swaminathan Farm School, Takarkheda, Wardha

The M S Swaminathan Farm School in Takarkheda in Arvi taluka is managed by Lahanuji Maharaj (LM) Sansthan. A team of about forty farm men and women from the villages under the LANSA Farming System for Nutrition (FSN) study and MSSRF staff went on an exposure visit to the centre as a part of capacity strengthening activity. A Farmer’s Field Day on “Rabi Season Finger Millet Cultivation” was organized in Chikima village (one of the intervention village under FSN study) of Boipariguda block of Koraput district on 29th March 2017 under the FSN study under LANSA research programme.
