In the government’s position paper ‘Scaling Up Nutrition’ DFID declares a crucial role for research. “We will be achieving our results in nutrition through scaling up programmes where there is evidence of fast and sustainable impact.... and we will work with others to fill knowledge gaps and generate new research on what works...”
