LANSA work shared at International Conference on‘Women's work in rural economies' in Kerala
The Foundation for Agrarian Studies organised an International Conference on ‘Women’s Work in Rural Economies’ between November 30 and December 2, 2018, in Vayalar, Kerala. Nitya Rao, Gender lead, LANSA shared  research on Gendered Time, Seasonality and Nutrition: Insights from Two Indian Districts in the session on ‘Women’s work in agriculture’.
LANSA research presented at IITB-APAARI-NABARD Workshop, IIT Bombay
Workshop on Agriculture & the Imperatives of Food & Nutrition Security jointly organised by IITB, APAARI and NABARD was held at IIT Bombay on December 6, 2018. Dr. R.V. Bhavani, Programme Manager, LANSA shared  research findings in the session titled ‘Crop Diversity and Nutrition Initiatives at MSSRF, India’.

LANSA at SDG-Conference 'Towards Zero Hunger: Partnerships for Impact'
Wageningen University & Research (WUR) organised the SDG conference 'Towards Zero Hunger - Partnerships for Impact' on August 30-31 in Wageningen, The Netherlands. Sangeetha Rajeesh, Research Uptake and Communications Manager, LANSA-MSSRF presented  a poster and was a panelist at the Foresight4food session on the 'Science and Politics of Exploring the Future for Anticipatory Governance'.
LANSA at SDG Policy Dialogue
Policy Dialogue on ‘Unlocking the Potential of Regional Cooperation in South Asia for achieving Sustainable Development Goals: The Way Forward' was organised by UNESCAP, SACEPS and RIS on October 6, 2018 in New Delhi. R.V. LANSA @ANH Academy Conference 2018, Ghana
LANSA hosted a ‘science-to-policy’ plenary session at the 3 rd Agriculture, Nutrition and Health (ANH) Academy Week held in Accra, Ghana on June 28. Research under LANSA was also shared with wide audiences via oral and poster presentations during the Conference Also, a research-to-policy uptakecommunications learning lab was co-hosted by LANSA.
LANSA Research in Afghanistan shared with multi-sectoral stakeholders
On July 8 and 9, Ecology & Conservation Organisation of Afghanistan (ECOA) along with LANSA organised a two-day workshop on the outcomes of LANSA research in Bamyan, Afghanistan. Nigel Poole, LANSA’s lead on Afghanistan presented on ‘Food choice: Sectoral interventions to improve dietary diversity’ to further discussed agricultural policies and challenges in policymaking in Afghanistan.
