LANSA Online discussion on FAO'S FSN Forum
LANSA organised a three-week e-discussion on FAO’s Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition from October 23 till November 10. The topic was Sustainable Farming System for Food and Nutrition Security,which provided opportunity to showcase experiences and on-going research from low and middle-income countries on the links between agriculture, nutrition and the environment.  Read the discussion summary here.

On September 7 and 8 in Kathmandu, Bhavani RV, Project Manager, LANSA-MSSRF presented Insights from the Farming System for a Nutrition Study in India whileNoorulain Masood, Director - Research to Action study under LANSA presented how agricultural workers lead research on women's work and nutrition in Pakistan.
LANSA shares research uptake strategies at ICRD, Bern
The International Conference on Research for Development (ICRD) was from September 5 to 8 in Bern, Switzerland and LANSA’s Research Uptake Manager, Sangeetha Rajeesh, hosted a session on a range of policy uptake and influencing practice methods used by LANSA Consortium in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.  
LANSA celebrates National Nutrition Week in India
The 2017 theme was ‘Optimal Infant & Young Child Feeding Practices: Better Child Health’ and MSSRF-LANSA research and uptake teams organised a social media outreach campaign between September 1 and 7 to share messages arising out of LANSA’s nutrition research in India. Gender Research from India showcased at National Policy Consultation, New Delhi
National Commission for Women (NCW) in partnership with MAKAAM and UN Women organised a national consultation on 'Realising Rights of Women Farmers: Developing a Roadmap for Action' to discuss key concerns and rights of women farmers on August 29 and 30 in New Delhi, India. Karnataka government invites LANSA to discuss linking agriculture, nutrition and health
A meeting was organised by the additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner of Karnataka on June 22, 2017 at Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru to discuss and introducing nutri and climate smart millets in the Public Distribution System. LANSA discusses the impact of markets on nutrition
A two-day online discussion on April 25 and 26 hosted by LANSA allowed for a better understanding of value chains as critical to establishing effective connections between agriculture and nutrition. LANSA shared research from South Asia, and explored effective ways to enhance access to nutritious food by the poor, while examining the entire food chain from a value chain perspective.  Read Summary here.
