Nutrition Awareness Generation Programme for Leveraging Agriculture towards Nutrition Security

LANSA in India works with agricultural and rural communities in Odisha and Maharashtra under the FSN study. The research is testing the broad hypothesis that undernutrition manifesting as deficiency of calories, proteins, iron and Vitamin A can be addressed through agricultural remedies. The scientists underwent a three-day (May 25-27) programme on nutrition awareness generation with the main objective being to understand the relationship between nutrition awareness and its influence on agricultural practices and food intake.
