Grabbing an opportunity for research uptake

Networking with Afghanistanstakeholders began in 2015 when research work started with policy landscaping and stakeholder mapping. Research uptake efforts began with online engagement to start with.

From online to direct engagement

Supported by MSSRF, LANSA research uptake was initiated for the first time in Afghanistan in 2016.

A stakeholder database was created for Afghanistan, and all engagement activities were recorded in the Uptake Stakeholder Engagement Log maintained by the LANSA RU team.

Uptake is everyone’s business

LANSA aims to generate high quality research and use the evidence to inform policy and programme decisions to enhance nutrition through agriculture. To maximise the impact that LANSA research has, there is a great focus on the uptake of the findings.
