Engaging with stakeholders is at the heart of LANSA research uptake strategy, and it is the resulting engagement with consumers of LANSA research at so many levels that has led to one such stakeholder recommending LANSA MSSRF work in India for the Odisha Environment Congress Award in December 2015.

Published Date : Sunday, May 10, 2015Monitoring when researchers attend LANSA-relevant events and when they specifically mention LANSA to stakeholders has now ensured that these two activities are top-of-mind for researchers. Researchers know that these activities are considered useful to the programme and by engaging in them regularly they are now able to make direct connections between their actions and contributing to informed dialogue on nutrition and agriculture, helping CSSR researchers see their value.

Thanks to the 25 years of exemplary work and long-standing relationships established by M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) in the country, a decent base was built and LANSA programme was thus introduced formally to the policy influencers and researchers at a national-level meeting in New Delhi
